With so many other things that I have to juggle for my son Ty, it is such a
relief to know that Lara and the people at EnVision are taking care of this
piece of the puzzle. I know that they have not only Ty's, but our entire family's,
well being in mind. Thank you!
Our support coordinator, Christina, is THE BEST!!! She has been our
"savior" for almost five years, and she is not only our case worker, but she is
our friend. I have always been able to count on Christina to do her
best for us -- and much more. We've had great support through social services
since we moved to St. George in 2006, and Christina has stuck with us even
through some very trying times.
Thanks Christina and Envision!
We feel so fortunate to have Krissie Summerhays and EnVision Quality
Supports serving our daughter, Heather. Krissie is knowledgeable, caring and
is always prepared to find ways to help Heather continue to be successful. We
know we can trust Krissie to keep us on track with our Self-Administered
Services and all that is required by DSPD and Medicaid. Thank you for being such
a great advocate for Heather and many others!
Lara Bone has been our support coordinator for several years now. She works with
both my sons (one has Down's Syndrome and the other has Autism). Her most
important efforts, however, are mostly in my behalf. I spend a lot of time
trying to coordinate opportunities and advocate for my sons, and I could achieve
nothing if it weren't for her monumental hard work! She has been a godsend when it
comes to understanding "the system" here in Utah. We moved here from California. I
knew everything there was to know out there, but Utah speaks a different language. She
has been incredibly patient and understanding when trying to teach me the in's and out's
of this process. She is extremely dependable, infinitely reachable, and honestly, one of the
best friends my sons have!! She is willing to do anything for us, and the list can seem endless,
mostly because she's working with an older Mom who's not the best at remembering and
grasping her responsibilities. She visits my sons at their schools or work sites and is ready to
answer any question at the drop of a hat. She has made our family life easier and much more
comfortable because she is creative and can think outside the box. Her knowledge, experience,
and caring demeanor make all of this seem easy, when I know in fact that helping handicapped
children is a difficult and challenging job at best. And to top it all off, she does it long distance
because we live in Tooele County. Many of us recognize the angels in our lives, but Lara leads
the pack. I am ever so grateful she has blessed our lives with her presence. We simply couldn't
survive without her!
